Arms embargo lifted on Vietnam by US

Barack Obama lifted arms embargo with Vietnam and thus ending a decade long ban. Announcement was made in Butter yellow palace in Vietnam in the first few hours of three day visit to Vietnam by the American president after meeting the newly elected president of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang . The decision is in view of warming the relationship between the two old enemies to curb the Chinese aggression in the region.There is a terriorial dispute between Vietnam and China in South China Sea. This will allow American firms to sell weapons to the country. America lifted its ban by seeing a "modest" improvement in human right in Vietnam.

Ingenuously build RLV-TD launched successfully by ISRO

ISRO launched RLV-TD(Reusable Launch Vehicle-Technological Demonstrator) from Sriharikota on Monday. HS9 rocket boosters are used for lift off which successfully burn for 91.1 seconds. It is burned out and separated from RLV-TD at a altitude of 56 Km and further ascended to a height of 65 Km.RLV-TD began its descent from 65 Km at Mach 5 which eventually successfully glided down to the defined spot in Bay of Bengal. Total flight duration from Lift off to landing of the delta winged RLV-TS lasted for 770 seconds This technology will help cut launch cost substantially and is the first step toward mastering the reusable launch vehicle technology developed by Vikram Sarabhai Space Center(VSSC) at the cost of Rs. 95 crore. Critical technologies such as autonomous navigation, guidance and control, reusable thermal protection system and re-entry mission management is successfully tested.

Waterjet fast attack craft INS Tarmugli joins Eastern Fleet

Domestically build by GRSE(Garden Reach Ship builders) INS Tarmugli is first of the four water jet built for Indian Navy.  INS Tarmugli will be based in Visakhapatnam and will be deployed for coastal patrol and surveillance operations along Eastern Coast. INS Tarmugli is 95 th ship built by GRSE. Commissioned by ENC's Flag officer commander in chief Vice Admiral HCS Bisht. Named after a Andaman group the 320 tonne INS Tarmugli can operate in shallow water at high speed with enhanced fire power .Equipped with Igla surface to air missile to compact aerial threats. Built with MTU engines and equipped with 30mm CRN 91 gun manufactured by ordinance factory Medak Some of the other Vessels of India Navy are INS Car Nicobar chennai, INS Chetlat, INS Kora Divh, INS Cheriyam, INS Cankarso, INS Kondul. INS Kalpeni, INS Kabra ,INS Koswari , INS Karuva , INS Tillanchang , INS Tihayu , INS Tarasa(under construction).
