RRB Clerk prelims 2016 analysis

Regional Rural Banks clerks 2016 started its maiden clerk preliminary exam this year. Following are the pattern that is appearing for preliminary exams
For the posts of Officers Scale I and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) the examination will be two tiers i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, preliminary and main. Candidates who apply for the post of Office Assistants (Multi-purpose) will be provisionally allotted on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the Main examination and the vacancies reported by the RRBs.  

IBPS RRB Salary for Office Assistant posts – For Office Assistant at 100% DA for new recruits= Rs. 14000-17000 (Cash in Hand). Office Assistant Pay Scale: 7200-(400/3)-8400-(500/3)-9900-(600/4)-12300-(700/7)-17200-(1300/1)-18500-(800/1)-19300

The examination consists of two sections which include Quantitative and Reasoning ability. Quantitative contains one data interpretation, ten simplification, ten word problems (which was simple), five number series and so on.

Reasoning contains one linear arrangement and one circular puzzle of low difficulty level , alphanumeric series , digits arrangements , one direction question , coding decoding isolated questions
